An increase in lymph nodes indicates disadvantaged in the zone that the node "serves". Most often, the increase in lymph node is associated with infection, less often it is a consequence of tumor lesion.

  • In purulent processes, as a rule, acute lymphadenitis occurs - inflammation of the lymphatic node. The inflammatory process arises due to microbes from the RAS, located in the "service area" of lymph node. The main manifestation is the increase in lymph node, the appearance of pain in its feeling. In the event of a purulent process over the lymphatic node, the skin can be blic.   • Increased lymph nodes in children and adults in various diseases A sharp pain and an increase in the size of one lymph node is usually a sign of its inflammation - lymphadenitis.
